He had EFL options. Wanted to come here and played hard ball. Most players wouldn’t but he just wants to play regularly, enjoy his football and be appreciated…like he was here first time. And his girlfriend prefers Southend to Sheff I suspect :-)
 
Good news all round. Well done Kev and co and credit to Sheff U as they could easily afford to make an example of KL. Without knowing the financial details they must have done us and Kacper a favour.

More to point and the real reason he is here.....I posted back in May after meeting him at the last home game of the season. I was convinced he wanted to come back and had genuine warmth for the the club. He certainly wasn't just being polite...He meant it

That fits in totally with the new regime. I love the fact that he cant just walk into the team on Saturday. The good news is thats exactly why he has signed.

Exactly it was genuine….and the Polish club talk was never real, just a reminder he could go for nothing in 10 months. I suspect there is a big sell on (fair enough) and we have stumped up (for us) a reasonable fee even if paid in instalments.
