Jeremy Corbyn's Labour

I personally find Owen Smith to be a loathesome ****ehawk of the very highest order. I don't know why, but he really rubs me up the wrong way, more than most Tory and UKIP MPs in fact. I'm no Corbyn lover, but he is starting to make me think I might be able to bring myself to vote Labour again having deserted the party during the Blair/Brown/Miliband years, but if Smith wins the leadership contest I think I'll be done with Labor once and for all.

Me too. However he'll be trounced.

What's more interesting to me is his complete fail yet again on anti-semitism. Corduroy asks Shami Chakrabarti to chair an "independent" inquiry into anti-semitism. She finds little evidence, and is then the only person put forward by Corduroy for a peerage in Camerscum's resignation honours list.

If he can't see how bad that actually looks he shouldn't be leading any party.

Why do not believe her results? It's like you want the Labour Party to be full of virulent anti-semites.

I only saw snippets on the news this morning whilst I was late getting ready for work. Didn't think much of it to be honest.
you can watch it in full on the Labour Party website, if you see the whole thing you get a very different picture than you do from the snipets on the news. Most people have never seen Smith debate before so its a good opportunity to see him in action and get a feel for the choice between the two of them

I'm on holiday. Not going to bother.

Saddest part regarding this is that they have had to go to court to decide this....2nd time in a fortnight?

The Tories will be ever so pleased if he does.

Yes that's right.Unless the NEC (and "moderate" Owen Smith) can be prevailed upon to see common sense and drop any appeal.

Appeal's due to be heard on Thursday btw,so till some time before August 24th, when ballot papers will be sent out to Labour members,

Not really. We will end up like one those banana republics. They have a democratic election, but with no credible opposition the result has is a forgone conclusion.

Labour MP's should be uniting behind their demoratically elected leader not starting spurious and unnecessary leadership contests.
