Jeremy Corbyn's Labour

I'm 100% sure Corbyn will win this vote of leadership. I'm also pretty sure that unless some huge concessions are made, the Labour party will split. If the left aren't careful, they're going to be reduced to speakers corner on a Sunday morning.
Having said all of that mind, this is great theatre!

Always an idea to answer some questions prior to posing your own...
before clarifying what you are saying? that way we go round and round - as seems to be the case now. I'm happy to have a discussion with you but not interested in having a spat, got better things to do than invest time in that.

We go round and round because you insist on ignoring what is being said, procrastinate, deflect and try and set the terms of debate to your own agenda.

Whiat I have said, is that Corbyn as the leader....is wholly responsible for the Labour party and the current state it is in.

This shouldn't be a difficult concept to grasp, for even the most die hard supporter.

By your own admission the current election is incompetent, his Mp's say he is incompetent, his former shadow cabinet say he is incompetent, his performance at Pmq's is incompetent, his performance for remain in the referendum was incompetent.

Corbyn in short has failed, and by default the Labour party have become a standing joke.

I would normally look forward to a response along the lines of Corbyn is an amazing chap, and full of competence because the above is wrong and here's why...(insert reason).

However you aren't able to do that are you?

I wanted to understand what you were saying - which of my own shortcomings am I blaming others for?

You wanted to deflect away from your inability to answer, and cloud the waters because you are completely unable to answer the following;

How are you going to get on while out canvassing or door knocking for Labour if you can't address basic questions even though you have the leisure of typing a response on the zone, you are unable to!

Will you tell voters that you aren't there to discuss Labours and it's leaders complete lack of competence?

Will you tell voters like you told me, that the racism and homophobia in the party can be dismissed?, because other parties may have the same issues, and tell them that to hold contempt for racism and homophobia is being dramatic?

my 'friend' - as I have stated I am willing to discuss this further when have explained the insult you threw at me - what do you mean by 'seeking to blame others for your own short comings' ?

I'm not willing to give you any of my time until you explain the insult to me. I think that is reasonable.

That's fine AAS, as I made quite clear earlier you would not be setting the terms, or placing demands....but then we all knew you would employ every tactic under the sun to avoid answering the questions I have asked.

And if we on the Zone have to live without your excuses or reasons for Corbyn's complete incompetence, I'm sure we will happily do so and it will not change the current absurdity of your chosen party or it's leader.

My advice is to not spend any more time on this as it will only waste mine.

I can answer your questions easily. I am choosing not to at the moment because I have asked you to explain why you were insulting me and what you meant by it.
You and me will never be voting the same way and will not be influencing the way the other thinks so our discussions on politics are of little consequence. What is more important to me is why you chose to insult someone who had not addressed you in an aggressive way, and then ignored requests for an explanation. If you are interested in what I think then explain what you mean by that insult first. If you don’t want to do that then let’s not bother with any of it. Civility is all that was requested.

So why haven't you?...why are you demanding this and demanding that?

Why demand civility when not being prepared to offer any of your own?

I advised you earlier not to spend any more time on this as you were wasting my time, by not answering the questions about Corbyn that were posed, yet still you persevered with your ducking of the issue.

This thread is about Corbyn, not you... so either discuss him or start a thread about yourself, telling people how and in what way they should post so as not to offend your sensitivities.

The truth is,if anyone doesn't agree with your view, then they are deemed racist, nazi or an idiot.

The left are losing everything !

Not by me they are not.
I'm not sure if you have read the last couple if pages of the thread but your post seems a bit out of synch. I'm sure you make many posts that are insightful and give people some valuable information to think over, but on this occasion I'm not sure that your post is adding to the discussion. I'm sure Callan is grateful for your support but....yeah, just a bit out of synch.

Stop wasting my time....and do so.

The problem with the left, and in particular the Labour party....is that in many ways they look down there noses at every one from the Tories all along the spectrum to the working classes.

It appears under Corbyn, that it is the politics of the student union that is winning the day, and whilst that happens they become ever more disengaged from the people that they are supposed to represent.

Oh every time they get kicking like at the GE or the referendum when their supporters turned on them, they claim they will listen, that they will change...but they are incapable of that.

It's all to easy for them to sneer and snarl without ever offering any real chance of hope or change.

Corbyns incompetence alongside the disunity of the party, the recent racism and homophobia, the allegations of bullying etc

As for AAS I dare say he isn't a bad fellow, but with the circus that is Labour at the moment, it's a good time to be a clown.

So why didn't they win the election? And why are they certain to lose the next one? Because socialism doesn't work. Go to Venezuela and check it out.

Got a mate working there atm for the British Council.

He's no wild eyed lefty but a solid Labour man from Newcastle. He reckons the reports in the Western media about shortages etc have been wildly exagerated.

Clown now, at least that insult is clear and easy to understand, still don't know what the previous one was about.

You and Mrs Blue are getting on famously though - similar mindset I guess.

I'm sure that Mrs B, would wholeheartedly agree that for certain posters it's best to keep things clear and easy to understand.

Back on track hows the reply to the Corbyn incompetence question coming along?...can we expect to see it anytime soon?
