Even if Ron does secure this so called bridging loan he just prolonging the agony ie we are back in this same situation 6/12 months time. I actually hope he doesn't get the bridging loan as it forces his hand into getting outside investment. Whether he will be prepared to sell slice of his pie to secure outside investment is anyone guess. Didn't he say on zoom meeting 18 months back "I love this club you ****ing idiot" here is your chance to prove it chairman. No more ****ing around with HMRC and late/non paid wages to players/staff. That **** is unacceptable!

I can’t make the game tomorrow but I am 100% with those who are going to mark and protest outside the ground tomorrow. Make loads of noise but don’t overstep the mark as you will quickly lose support from others ire wishing people were dead etc. Also just bear in mind what CRATE said about his ban. Consider the potential consequences before going on the pitch as if the club gets sold you could miss out of some really good times if we get sold. Everyone is free to do what they want but just consider potential consequences of actions first.

Do we know what time on the 1st of March our deadline is to provide funds? Do we need to get it in the day before or just proof we have the funds on the day?

Shambolic. It’s like the titanic filling with water and Ron is trying to scoop it out with a bucket riddled with holes
Whilst a number of well intentioned vessels and life rafts manned by credible individuals pull up alongside offering, no pleading to, help. But Ron's the captain and refuses all offers to help save him, the ship and everyone on board. Madness.

Honest question, do you know how many of those just want the football club? Or are most of them looking to make a quick profit on the whole project.

At what point are players free to leave without a fee due to breach of contract for non payment of wages? Could argue its already possible and maybe why Scunthorpe made a public approach when they did?
Quite rightly, we could see an exodus very soon, and not just because we've been wound up!

The players, the academy, the ticket office, HMRC, Darlington, St John’s Ambulance - has anyone been paid this year?
Whilst all are absolutely important (and there's others unpaid), there's one that we should be worried if the 8th Feb and 1st Mar court cases don't impact our controlling party or the company itself - has HMRC been paid since the value of the debt in court was calculated? These things aren't 'pay once and it goes away'!

I think thats a 'depends' kind of answer.
In court the other week those cases that had sight of the o/s funds in the claimants bank account were of course dismissed.
Others though were a mixed bag, one Geordie fella was dependent on an imminent property sale, and that was eventually deemed as good enough and he was granted an further extension.
Our case will be treated differently. We are considered serial offenders but, while smaller companies/individuals, who come under the same bracket, would be struck off in an instant. The fact that we are considered such an asset to the local community and have obviously done a lot of work behind the scenes, I sense a declaration from a third party that the funds will be paid in 1/2 days/weeks may be enough.

I can't recall exactly but I think it was 2 weeks - let me see if that is actually set in stone somewhere

His son will face hell from angry Southend fans for rest of his life, he would face death threats against him and his family’s etc, would he want that?
