You act like this has happened before!

Absolutely spot on with your summary by the way.

Although I would add the caveat that he may not settle the entire bill, but enough of it >50% for the Judge to reluctantly grant further adjournment. Not that HMRC will be entirely happy with that, but we have to remember it's down to the judge, not them.

Either way by hook or crook we should continue after March 1st. At which point our fight as a united fanbase needs to turn to get the stadium underway and furnish us with your exit strategy pronto.

If he has the £5M why would you not pay off HMRC in full, they have tried to have us wound up at the last two hearings, paying 50% with a further promise of payment may not be accepted by HMRC and then we get wound up!

It's down to the judge rather than the HMRC. If the judge accepts a payment plan then HMRC have to abide by it.

What are the pots of gold from B&L when that is given up when new training ground complete.? Obviously millions, but after the bridging loan and other debts are paid and Ron has presumably pocketed done to begin his payback campaign, how much is left to finance SUFC through the build programme of FF

But why would the judge accept a further payment plan when we are serial offenders........ Ron had his "final" warning over a month ago so with the clock ticking and no serious reassurance statement made by SUFC I like a lot of people are still feeling like we are in limbo........just waiting !

Its down to HMRC not the judge, it would be us entering an agreement to pay with HMRC, if they accept it then the petition is dismissed regardless of what the judge thinks.

Youd think that would be a good idea for multiple reasons. As I've said before HMRC charge interest on money owned to them daily. You've got to wonder how much money has gone down the drain paying off the interest alone. Anyone with half a brain wouldn't want to build up debt owed to HMRC.

Like others, I hear the money is in. I'm under the impression HMRC had to be dealt with first, so hopefully outstanding salaries will be paid at some point during the coming week and the players/management team can bulldoze full steam ahead into the upcoming important fixtures with a weight off their shoulders.

Expecting a dismissal on Wednesday if he's paid in full (and I haven't heard anything to the contrary), but if the small rumblings of part payment are true then it could be another adjournment.

If 1st March is navigated, it does not mean anybody should rest easy. The £5m bridging finance was applied for under the assumption that the new stadium build would be started and more monies released around June. There is now considerable doubt that this will be the case since approval does not appear to be imminent for the modified stadium plans, and RM and the council appear to blaming each other. This therefore also raises considerable doubt about whether the £5m bridging finance will be enough to cover delays to the programme, and increases the risk of the club being back in this position in 5 or 6 months.

A lot of momentum has been built up in terms of raising awareness of SUFC's plight and of increasing the scrutiny and pressure on Ron Martin. The media surrounding the White Paper, regardless of what form it eventually takes when passed, provides an additional opportunity to maintain that momentum and a new angle of attack with which to highlight Ron Martin's impropriety to a wider audience.

We must stay alert and not rest on our laurels.

One thing that confuses me is why we have delayed paying, when Scunthorpe were taken over the new owners cleared the HMRC debt immediately and the transfer embargo was lifted as soon as the HMRC confirmed payment.

Only thing I’m looking at is the hard work king kev back room team and players have done the celebrations yesterday were amazing we don’t fear anyone in the league including you Wrexham

I believe his Knights suit is not back from polishing until tomorrow, but his Horse otherwise known in close circles as "Pony Soprano" is raring to go.

So if it does get paid, players, staff and suppliers get paid. Transfer embargo gone. I wonder if there will be any transfer movement. A striker and a keeper would be super helpful so we can compete with notts in the playoffs.
