So with 1 week to go, and after listening the supporters group zoom calls, it seems we should soon be getting a feel for how things are going to pan out.

What I understand is that if the debt is to be cleared, it needs to be paid up (in full or part) before the court hearing on the 1 March. If we pay in full, the court hearing will be cancelled. If we pay in part, we can then enter negotiations for the remainder on the 1st. If we pay nothing, it is very likely will will get wound up.
There is the possiblity of administation.
Not to mention the planning saga and if that is a requirement for the bridging loan! Also all the companies house activities with Jack Martin.
So all but winding up means something has to happen before the 1st March. Can we realistically leave it to 11.59pm on 28/2? Surely Admin would have to be started a day or 2 in advance?
Note the bit linking bridging loan and revised planning is speculation? It was asking the question not giving an answer. Even on the day if he can clearly demonstrate funds are/will be available to pay in the near term then we won't be wound up (but the court will have to believe that the funds are there and see evidence).

He'll pay it off with the bridging loan, drawn down this weekend. He'll act like some kind of saviour and we'll promptly get another winding up order in May
You act like this has happened before!

Absolutely spot on with your summary by the way.

Although I would add the caveat that he may not settle the entire bill, but enough of it >50% for the Judge to reluctantly grant further adjournment. Not that HMRC will be entirely happy with that, but we have to remember it's down to the judge, not them.

Either way by hook or crook we should continue after March 1st. At which point our fight as a united fanbase needs to turn to get the stadium underway and furnish us with your exit strategy pronto.

But...I didn't do anything?

😁😂

I’m hardly defending him I’m simply stating a fact that the debt is from covid. Equally your comment about missing the payment is a fact. You saying I am backing Ron is an opinion off of the back of me stating what are facts.
Except it’s not a fact.

Immediately prior to lockdown we were under an embargo for at least three months due to not being able to pay creditors as and when debts fell due. We know this as Sol Campbell signed Paddy Osadebe and Theo Vassell but was unable to register them to play due to an embargo.

These are not new problems that arose through Covid. It is a continuation of the situation that existed before and was not addressed. Post-lockdown we continue to operate at a loss (according to Ron/Tom) and so this will continue to be a problem until something drastic happens.

I think Tom has already said that break even to making money from the new ground would be when the north stand is built so the reality is that a rocky road will continue for some time. The first flats completed are IIRC for rent so that income stream will be limited.

Money is released to us once the stadium project has started, we will have somewhat better stability throughout that process.
