And before you say "well his job is to defend" you might want to take a look at Barrett and his mazy runs foward which by enlarge amount to nothing , yet leave us exposed at the back.
Scares the **** out me when he does that.

So how do you show passion? Barrett is all double clenched-fists throwing his body on the line for tackles when he probably was caught a little bit out of position in the first place (don't get me wrong, I love the man). Simon Francis has been here three and a half years, has never moaned, signed a new contract when others (Bailey, Clarke) refused to despite being put on the list, and turned down a move to a Championship club two weeks ago. He has been given unfair stick from the crowd, has played in several different positions and yet he has never once moaned. Just because his demeanour is a little more reserved, doesn't mean he lacks passion for the cause.
Watching West ham.
Anyone that think Francis going is a good thing is sadly deluded. He is a class above anything else we have and a good player at this level. He switches off at times but if he didnt then i wager my life he would be at a higher level as the rest of his game is superb.
By putting in a bit of effort rather than switching off and thinking about what he has for dinner. He has rubbissh concentration i'm sure you would agree?
I would say his lapses have cost us as many as his created. Don't forget Francis has been an ever present in one of the worst defences we have had since the championship.
to do with Barrett having something like nine different partners this season already.
Do we have another JT in our midsts ?? :stunned: :puke
Yeah. We need a right-back that is a half decent defender, then get a right-midfeilder that can do what Francis has been doing.
This way we don't leave the right wing exponsed everytime.
for me this is the best news of heard in ages!!! better then even signing a new player!
francis is our biggest problem, the sooner he is gone the better, he just isnt interested, cant defend, gets caught on the ball, hoofs it everytime he gets the ball! out of 10 crosses 1 is a good one! corners are SHOCKING!!! plymouth take him please!!!!
