Barnard, eastwood, gower...Doesn''t sound to bad to me.

12 months ago Barnard was deemed to be a drain on the wage bill by some of the experts on here. As another poster pointed out Gower was frequently moaned about until he left. Unfortunately the list of players we could say that regularly increases.

i also would like to see francis go! defensively he's worrying! going forward fair enough he is good at crosses! id rather get a decent winger who can put crosses in and a full back that is very good at defending!

For me Francis has been our best player this season - the odd mistake, but more than made up for it going forward. People keep talking about Barrett having 8 different partners at CB this season, but the missing position has been the right sided centre back - ie they line up and need to communicate with Francis almost as much as Barrett. Under these circumstances I think he's been excellent.

Fair enough people may think otherwise, but some of the comments on this thread are way overboard
