However there is no way of telling, beacuse footabll as a subject is subjective.

Actually I think you're right. I've looked on youtube and Brian Moore plus Keegan are the ITV commentary team for that match. No sign of big Ron. I stand corrected and bow to your superior memory of a match I'd rather forget...

That moment is sadly scarred into my conciousness.

I knew as soon as Keggy had said it that we would lose to Romania and Batty would miss the penalty v Argentina (although I suspect most of us thought that anyway).

I still haven't forgiven ITV.
