Films you've watched recently.

Dug out All or Nothing (2002) from my 2 Mike Leigh boxsets last night.(This one is in the Mike Leigh Feature Film Collection.The other is ML at the BBC).

As you can see I'm quite a ML fan!

FWIW,I Think ML and Ken Loach are the 2 finest English filmakers of their generation.

As for All or Nothing while it's perhaps a tad dated it still stands up well for ML fans:As the great Irish poet WB Yeats says, "Tread softly,for you tread on my dreams". :Winking:

(Btw Baldy that other ML film I didn't like on release was Topsy Turvey.I'd also add the more recent Turner.

Sorry to butt in on a private conversation but I like 'High Hopes' and ' Peterloo' best of Mike Leigh's films.

"Turner" was awful.......Yes Ken Loach is very good.

Time to see the brilliant "Abigail's Party"
