Films you've watched recently.

Watching 'The Long Good Friday' on Film4 on Channel 14 . Has to be the greatest British gangster film ever made .
Seem to remember a tout saying that-back in the day- when I was queuing up for theatre tickets at the WE ticket booth.Fortunately I'd already seen the film.:Winking:

Tangled--Thank you for the article about "swearing in films"---Do I have to make allowances as it appeared in The Guardian? lol
IIRC about 3/5 in the 2021 survey by the BFI thought that swearing was a regular part of their lives.Interesting fact.

Blank Panther: Wakanda Forever - dreadful! Too long, terrible storyline and just a real shame because the first one was excellent.
I liked it but it did drag on. Watched it in the cinema and was busting for the loo for the last 30 mins. Not fun, I can tell you 😅

Had to look up idiosyncratic. I wouldn't call it out of the ordinary to doubt the opinions of these so called experts. That's all it is, opinions and those always differ.
True :I used to rely on Derek Malcolm in the Guardian for his film reviews.Sadly he's now retired I believe. Not really keen on the current bunch though Mark Kermode in the Observer is often on the money
