End of day one, Essex 111-1.

Not a bad recovery considering we were originally 1-1 :sad:

I think we are still about 20 odd runs short of where we want to be at this stage, but can't complain, if we can continue to bat through at a decent run rate until at least until tea tomorrow, we should be in a comfortable position. :thumbsup:.

Kent look alarmingly good and seem to be coming into their season form at the wrong time for us :sad: .... Hopefully we can wrap the promotion up before we play them in about 3 weeks.
