England vs Pakistan Test Series

I think the Strauss dropped catch that would have ended that last wicket partnership could be vital. Not only did they add an extra 30ish runs, but we only had a few tricky overs to bat. If he had taken that catch we would have had at least an hour to bat and probably would be pretty level score wise with them. I think we are only one big partnership away from winning this game, but other than the Morgan Collingwood stand in the first test, we have not exactly piled on the runs this summer.

Would like to see Anderson break his test record of 34. He'll probably end up getting more than Cook does anyway. :D

Some one give me a shotgun to shoot the PAK player who keeps making that shrill cry every few seconds.....

I thought it was that hamster faced WK, but it cant be him as he wasn't playing in the second test.

Anyone know who it is?

Just played a textbook cover drive though, but still broadly unconvincing.
Now his highest score of the series so far. If he can scratch about and avoid any unplayable balls he can hopefully break through 30 and go on and get his confidence back.

Now at 76-2 we have a lead of one.

Cook, on 49, steers a single to mid-on for his 23rd Test fifty, which has come from 77 balls.
You can see the relief etched on his face.
