Demise of the NoTW

Not very much at all; the maximum bet is only about £25 anyway as we do need to be very wary of inside info. We're talking total bets of thousands rather than tens or hundreds of thousands (in spite of what our PR department would have you believe)
So all 40 people in the queue then? :winking:

What about Blair employing Alastair Campbell? I'm not offering a defence of Coulson, but Campbell with his malign influence and dodgy dossier led us into Iraq. Coulson is yet to be found guilty of anything as far as I am aware.

I don't think Cameron is out of the country as a way of avoiding this, PM's visits abroad are made months in advance. Apart from the odd photo opportunity in Afghanistan & Iraq that is. And why only Labour & the Tories? The Lib-Dems have long courted the press.

Cameron has already twice reduced his overseas visit . Lib-Dems have yes , just not NI , many Lib Dems over the years have expressed their displeasure ... a certain Mr Cable being the most recent .

Labour and Tories because they have both been in power ? Both have openly used and courted Murdoch . That is simply a fact . And those saying Labour lead us to war ... yes your right how exactly does that devolve blame from what has happened now both are lies and manipulations . Why when one is being delt with are you so eager to say oh no thats just wrong ?

Yes no one has died from this but its still wrong and needs to be exposed . Your argument would mean all fraud and non violent theft would be acceptable when related to murder cases ??

I'm getting bored of the round the clock witchhunt coverage of this.

OK, so we get it, the BBC have a gripe with Murdoch, "let's put them out of business yadda yadda", but what the **** is being achieved here by a supposed "impartial" broadcaster? Isn't this actually just indoctrination? It was all so much more simpler when I just had to watch a reporter being filmed on a 2003 phone with a camera talking about Iraq or something.
You mean the same way NI have acted over the last oooh 20 or so years :P

Until now. Whistleblower Sean Hoare found dead in his home.

E
DIT sorry, beaten to it.

Boris appears to be keeping a low profile through most of this and refused to comment on Cameron earlier today. Could he be manoeuvring for a challenge should Cameron be forced to walk? I'd take that, he'd walk all over RedEd and Ballsup.

Boris & his deputy were in front of a London Assembly committee earlier. Johnson may want to be PM but he needs to be elected to Parliament first.

Dopey question... but what the hell has Cameron got to do with Millie Dowlers phone being hacked??

He employed Andy Coulson, who resigned from News International over his involvement in the phone-hacking scandal, as his Malcolm Tucker.
