Well he seems to be travelling around the country these days and in all honesty he has not really bettered himself. Shame really because he was a supporters favourite at Southend.
 
Wasn't a case of him wanting to go......think they only offered him a one year deal, after 8 years service, surely they could have given him the two years he desired

Why offer a two year contract on first team money to a reserve? The fact that Tilson gave Mildenhall a three year deal and only offered a one to Flavs showed exactly who was going to be first choice.

He was also constantly berated week in and week out for not commanding his area etc. He was heavily blamed for us being relegated from the Championship, despite us being generally rubbish.

Personally I thought he was a good keeper but dont think we miss him.
 
Just looking on the Palace website for some news about Bazza signing for them and I noticed that Darryl wasn't on their squad list?! Has he been released? Surely he is worth another punt at the club???

I think we've already seen the best of him... not sure if he'd be the same player.
 
He is 31 and everyone knows that most keepers have their best days near the end of their careers. Look at David James, he has had a cracking season and ended up in the England squad.
 
This ground has been covered sooo many times on this forum and I still think its crazy that people don't rate him - I agree with John, he'll age like wine
