I have been to Eastleigh this season and although the name didn't ring any bells, once I saw a picture I did remember him as someone who stood out in terms of natural ability but perhaps drifts in and out of games a bit. As I recall they were winning 1-0 and took him off, probably as the type of flair player who gets subbed when you are hanging on to a lead (I can think of one or two SUFC players of the recent past who fall into that category...). He could certainly succeed at a higher level with the right coaching.

No that sounds absurd for a non league player.

What was the name of the Cambridge player we pulled out when the fee was 100k ? Was it Michael Morrison ? I see he may be sold in January as his contract is up next summer, may be worth retrying.

Anybody heard anymore news on the Ross McCormack rumours?
 
Ross McCormack is an excellent player from what I have heard. He is like Scott Mcdonald we NEED to sign this guy.

Blimey, didn't realise this story had been doing the rounds for a month.
That thread again on their board proves (as did all the comments after the Hammell & Foran moves) what a bunch of deluded Buckfast addled pr1cks these lesser SPL fans really are.

Not that I'm in the habit of walking around Motherwell town-centre but a whole lot of that sh1tty rhetoric makes me want to parade up & down Motherwell High Street in full Southend kit shouting "Come on then you gormless bigclubitis twunts"!!!!! I'm not even a violent person!

Plus at least the Foran debacle is funny seeing as it deprived them of Europe in their eyes and he's done nothing for us, we didn't have to pay the final part of his transfer money & look odds-on to recoup most of his fee when we punt him on to Darlo!
 
Excellent glad to see we are working fast to make a few signings. And unlike Whelpdale we acted fast and beat the competition to him. :D
