Yeah, I agree. Interestingly, saw someone from Harlow council interviewed yesterday who said that they've ordered trenches to be dug all around their "open" spaces to prevent any vans pitching up on their land. Seems pretty sensible precaution to take, wonder how many others have thought of it?Seems to be warming up nicely for some action. Police including riot Police there in force. The human in me says I hope it all goes off peacefully despite the fact that these pikey law-breaking scum have had it coming and deserve everything that's coming their way today. 18 mill eh? Worth every penny. Just feel sorry for the farmers or villages whose lives are just about to change.
I can't believe I didn't think of this earlier unless someone else did on this epic thread. Why not move them all to Jaywick. Went there a few years back after 25 years and was shocked at how run down it had become. It was never fantastic but there was a community and properties were looked after. It's perfect. It is at the arse end of nowhere. They can't dessecrate the area much more than it already is and I'm guessing property is so cheap that they are hardly going to devalue prices for the few that remain.
I shall no doubt Google Jaywick and find it has had a multimillion revamp. Must be plenty of other similar places. I believe next door to Napster would be ideal.
The coverage of this in the national press has been quite disgustingly pro pikey. No mention of the human rights of the law abiding citizens bordering onto the site.

I checked the BBC News website earlier, and saw a comment about the underhand tactics of the police, apparently they entered the site by the simple expedient of knocking an undefended back fence down, rather than go through the heavily fortified front entrance.
Finally the electricity has been cut off to the site, how the **** they got utilities in the first place is beyond me. By all accounts the cutting of the leccy may cause the untimely demise of one of the inert travellers who was apparently wired to the mains.

Anyone got a problem with this attitude?!Just shoot the ***** & then run them over.
I bet they don't pay their electric bill, this country makes me sick sometimes.
