Technically they are an ethnic group, but as is the case with many people caught wrong doing, they choose to try and play the racist card in the hope of garnering support. Unfortunately there are those who are so blinkered that they see a "minority" group being challenged, that they will always come out with the bleeding heart rubbish instead of refusing to accept that these people are not being targeted as any form of racist attack but as they have actually done wrong, REGARDLESS of their ethnicity.

I don't give a f*** what the UN says, they were always going to come out on their side. Let them go and settle next door to Prof Cabannes and then see if he/she is quite so forgiving. Like most law abiding UK citizens, I suspect, I am fed up to the back teeth of apologists coming out and defending these law breakers. Time for them to accept they have lost and f*** off back to Wolverhampton or Ireland, wherever they have perfectly good bricks and mortar housing.
