Cricket World Cup (50 Overs)

Good fightback from Zim taking 6/26, however the words "horse, stable door and bolted" spring to mind :winking:

Interesting to note that Grant Flower is on Zims coaching staff and Stuart Law (my lord) on SLs, what with Goochie and Andy Flower with England thats a fair sprinkling of Super Essex in the dugouts

Good call. I think Ian Pont's the Bangles' bowling coach as well.

Taken from Cricinfo ...

Ian Pont, Bangladesh's bowling coach, has told ESPNcricinfo that, in addition to West Indies' bus, the Bangladesh team bus was also hit on its way back from the Shere Bangla Stadium, after the home team suffered a huge defeat to West Indies in a game that lasted all of 31.1 overs. Pont said there was no way the West Indian players were specifically targeted.

Good spot Matt

Trott escapes a very close lbw call. Less than half the ball was hitting the bails, which is why it went with the onfield umpires original not out decision.

216/8 as it stands, a pretty poor effort. Need the bowlers to step up again. At least there's no Yardy today, presumably Colly will be bowling a full set hence coming in at 8 (or Ravi will take some overs). Broad will be missed.

Good start by the Bangles not helped by some bad fielding and bad bowling from Shahzad!

Getting Iqbal early is crucial and is on 17 already...

Have there been any decent games that England haven't been involved in? Every match so absurdly close!!
