You have enough time to sneer at anyone who doesn't agree with you.

Its a forum and people are allowed to discuss the views of academics and doctors from all around the world who are saying different to people like Patrick Vallance. Some people are prepared to listen with an open mind.

An observation from Melbourne. Here we have just had our fourth successive 'double doughnut day' in a row. No new cases no deaths. This has come because of a tough lock down which nobody liked but it got us to the end of this crap. Today is Cup day- still a holiday but fans are banned at the track. Bloody terrible but sacrifices by the majority have got us here.

Personally,I've not been badly affected by it all but a lot of businesses are gutted. But things are slowly picking up . I can even go to the pub and be ribbed about how bad the shrimpers are.

The sun is shining with a predicted top of 30 degrees.....

If people want to disagree or debate things that's fine. Don't forget it was you who started bringing my 'qualifications' into this.

I'll definitely call out misinformation that you spout on here though. Saying the flu vaccine isn't effective in over 65s is categorically wrong, and a dangerous message to put out there. I'm surprised the mods on here don't see it the same way.

Tangled bought up flu vaccine so I asked him if he had seen the study. As you well know all science and medicine changes fast, even WHO have changed advice in the last 6 months over Covid.

Many on here will have had personal experience of medical procedures that are now considered to have no purpose. Or like me been given steroids only for the same specialist to advise me how dangerous and damaging they are 3 or 4 years later.

I'm not telling anyone what to do during the pandemic or lockdown. But you have appointed yourself guardian of this thread when you can have a quick break form your "real job". People are adults and they will decide whats best for them and their family.

If Mods started to remove posts because of your over reactions.......Where would it end.....Your opinion on blaming Hobson last night for the first goal....lets remove that

If the R doesn't come down, this lockdown will continue for sure. I just don't know why Boris says we will come out on 2nd December, he or anyone else doesn't know what's going to happen.

Seems the government are making plans in case things remain unchanged after the 2nd. They obviously have a lot more information to hand than you and I so can only assume.
Really feel for people and their jobs atm

It is really sad you're right. Until the end of March is a long time. Where's this money coming from, it's also got to be paid back.
