I have been cycling today and it is obvious there are lots of kids Halloween parties going on.

I have seen parents unloading booze for cars so obviously making a day of it.

4pm conference, 5pm conference and it’s now 5.36pm still no conference.

All I can picture is several ministers frantically running around looking for the scrap pieces of paper they've left somewhere with some sort of ideas scribbled on them. The first 6 to bring them back to the cabinet office have their info included.

Oh, and there's Benny Hill music playing in the background too.....

To do that the shops need it to be illegal to serve non abiders of the rules, as with fags or alcohol. And police it not leave it to scared staff.
With no clubs open then trained door security are needing some work?
They had door security at Asda in Basildon but they just treated people like drunks trying to get into a club after a skinful. Those two were lucky not to be lynched and Asda saw good sense to get rid. They are not the answer.

Sadly, there’s more chance of us gaining promotion this year, than the general public adhering to these rules & restrictions.

Still, feel free to fill your boots until midnight on Wednesday

Which is lucky as they didn;t have the staff to man them

Boris has just said we have lots more doctors in the NHS - does anyone have any stats on that?
Found some stats - most recent reported (July) 120,607, up from start of year which had 117,401. But down since May which had 121,255.

That's interesting, when Boris was asked about the premier league he hesitated as if he wanted to say something, but said yes to the premier league but didn't say anything about the other football leagues..

I fully expect the local ‘Spoons to be packed til Weds night. Expect the bouncers will be busy. I do feel sorry for people in retail, hospitality etc. as they were beginning to get back on their feet. I’ve been off since March so I’ll now be off til December. At least I have a job (for now). It’s all like a very bad film script ..

I can already see it... the front page of Thursday’s papers will be emblazoned with half dressed youngsters revelling in their final night before lockdown.

That train is never late.
