Probably more to do with broadcasting rightsThink this is at the heart of it personally .

Just got mine. Very little left available!According to the counter it's 5,500 but that doesn't include any away tickets.

That’s about what it’s been for the last few seasons. Around 8,000 home fans inc hospitality. Then 800 odd max away. Just under 9,000 if all sold.My maths, just adding up the numbers of #125 gives a home sell out capacity of just 7,303?
Okay there may be X block?
And then boxes and hospitality BUT that does seem a much reduced number?
Is the small block in West/South corner under the Police/Safety control box ever used?
No. Block A is not usually made available for purchase online.Have tickets in block a been available at any point?
According to that argument plenty of Shrimpers will be watching FA Cup round ! matches broadcast live on the Beeb this weekend. I won't be.Sounds like a sensible commercial decision.
We lose money when NL games are shown live on TV. Lots of Shrimpers stay at home and about 50% of away fans.
I don't think our last R1 game was available for streaming either - away to Chesterfield 3 (?) years ago. It may be that the club cannot stream it due to the rights agreements, rather than a lack of will.According to that argument plenty of Shrimpers will be watching FA Cup round ! matches broadcast live on the Beeb this weekend. Asit happens,I tend to agree with your first sentence (and I'll let you & other Shrimpers know what the club have to say about it when thet get back to me-they haven't so far)!
They’re hardly going to set up a completely new streaming service for one game that can’t even be streamed in the UK where the vast majority of watchers would be.According to that argument plenty of Shrimpers will be watching FA Cup round ! matches broadcast live on the Beeb this weekend. I'm not arguing that most of the ponential viewers for the game would be in the US -but these certainly aren't the supporters who are are most vocal in support of the club on SZ.They’re hardly going to set up a completely new streaming service for one game that can’t even be streamed in the UK where the vast majority of watchers would be.

They will but at 15:00hrs on Saturday they will be at RH.
If it was streamed then there would a significant drop on the attendance because plenty have a snide £40/50 per year connection. Some post the most negative comments on here about the club whilst clearly watching at home on their fire stick
As true as this is. I watch certain away games I can't go to which doesn't damage the clubs finances.
If I were to watch any home game, I've paid for a season card so wouldn't harm the finances either.
Most of the watchers online are abroad or season card holders who watch away games they can't make.
Would assume they can refund over the phoneChaps - wonder if you can help me. I’ve bought two tickets for the Charlton game and now can’t go. Will the club refund them over the phone or do I need to go down to the shop. I bought the tickets online.
Thanks!
