So the only tickets i could find next to each other was in the south upper, Block J, row F. Never sat there before, what's the view like?
I suspect that will be kept as a segregation block, should Charlton sell right round to the corner flag (Blocks Y&Z).Is or will block X be opened? (Or is there a h&s risk)
South Lower also available...So the only tickets i could find next to each other was in the south upper, Block J, row F. Never sat there before, what's the view like?
yes fair point, although I have said never again to the South Lower many years ago nowSouth Lower also available...
A feeling shared by pretty much everyone. It is dead space unfortunately and nigh on impossible to sell it out.yes fair point, although I have said never again to the South Lower many years ago now

This has been suggested so many times, myself included, and every time it does, it still remains a good idea. With how proactive COSU have been with the north bank, I really hope they have looked at this suggestion. Rip out the seats, make it £15 a ticket and get some atmosphere in there too. They should just rip out the seats and make South Lower standing!
It might be nudging towards a sell out by Friday afternoon.Let's be honest. I think most people aren't in a rush because it's not going to sell out.
It's a first round FA cup against Charlton
Not the 3rd round against Arsenal.
It will be well supported and anything over 6k is a good gate for a 1st round FA cup. Game..
The issue is, partly, that the capacity would still be the same as for the seats; it would be ,I agree, a much better atmosphere and viewing experience. This has been suggested so many times, myself included, and every time it does, it still remains a good idea. I was thinking it might be less as assuming there would be some sort of take/steps so people could see over someone’s else’s head. If that’s the case you couldn’t go too high because of the south upper being fairly tight and you would have to raise the floor for the front row as you’re under the pitch there. The issue is, partly, that the capacity would still be the same as for the seats; it would be ,I agree, a much better atmosphere and viewing experience.
Its great that Charlton can swell the coffers etc but still won't sell out due to family section and south lower. It might be nudging towards a sell out by Friday afternoon.

What the links to check how many tickets sold so far?
It's accurate to a point. Doesn't include corporate etc which is usually about 400 and isn't showing 1900 odd Charlton. What the links to check how many tickets sold so far?
