A cat has less lives than PB.
There are 2 people who voted to replace me and John:- andygb42, Dubai, Hammer, Jam_Man, nevereatwhitesnow, OldWilliam, wily cayote,
who have also voted to keep Brown :-bertbert, Blueronron, Bolton Shrimper, Brett Angle, Colchester John, Dubai, dusterman, Kestrel, mike101, nevereatwhitesnow, Prague Blue, rararblue, rdc3, shrimper61, smudgster
A real win double. Take them out of the equation and it changes things a little.
I thought the saying was never eat yellow snow. If he can't even get his name right, then his votes are pretty pointless
"I wouldn’t have advocated sacking Nile Ranger"
ummm - what is he talking about now ?
"I wouldn't have advocated sacking Nile Ranger if I thought I was going to miss him" is a fuller quote.
I wasn't going to post on this, but calling out people on the way they voted is bang out of order, IMHO.
Have your pointless poll, but don't question why people vote the way they do.
Jeez, what a train wreck this forum is at the moment!
Very sad to see. :thumbdown::sad:

Tilson! Oh...hang on...Have been reading the different "Brown out" threads with interest and would just add a couple of observations:
1. A lot of people want Brown out but have been unable to come up with realistic and affordable replacements for him. If the players don't respect the current manager (if the rumours are true...) then why would they respect Tilson or Coughlan who have not got the same level of managerial experience as Brown has. Surely we will be going with an experienced currently out of work manager...
Seriously? Rayleigh Boy, do you not understand the difference or was it just purposeful attempt to misquote someone?
Like most, I no longer believe that Brown is the answer for this football club. But this is just another example of how ready some people have been to promote a negative agenda simply because they don't like the man.
As the polls are public anyone can see how people voted.
This renders your comments completely wrong.
anyway however much i lack respect for Brown the smart thing for the club to do might be keep him until the end of the season
In fairness, Ken, the polls shouldn't divulge how people vote.
Likewise, there's a difference between people being able to see how people voted and actually listing them in a post, highlighting their names and then belittling them as posters.
We all know the agenda here. I, for one, do feel PB might well be best off put on gardening leave, as he is unlikely to get a new contract anyway, but people have a right to vote and have their opinion.
It's like a lynch mob mentality at the moment.
This place and it's many posters have made it one of the best supporter forums out there and kudos to everyone involved, but it's going downhill under this avalanche of anti-PB feeling. Just how I see it.

I voted stay. I accept that PB/RM have probably got it wrong with their over reliance on older, experienced players who quite probably have seen better days. However, most of us thought that these pre season signings did nothing but improve our squad and that we would be up there challenging. Looking back, it obviously hasn't worked, but shouldn't PB/Ron be given the opportunity to put things right. This transfer window gives this opportunity and surely PB, the man that works with this group of players on a daily basis, is the person most likely to know what's needed

2. There are no first team players who are remotely irreplaceable so if they are not committed to the club and want to hand in transfer requests, I would say accept the request and let them go. The senior first teamers who are on the most money are the ones, in the main, who have let us down time and time again. To blame Brown solely is to let these experienced well paid professionals off the hook!
You do know that nevereatwhitesnow is a Colchester fan up to no good?
That actually was Paul Sturrocks win, he stole the glory.
Tilson! Oh...hang on...
