Brexit negotiations thread

We'll eventually see exactly what changes Brexit may cause for UK nationals living elsewhere in the EU -perhaps fairly soon -if there's no deal by the end of March.Meanwhile like Yogi, I don't expect there to be any serious consequences for me personally.I do however forsee plenty of problems for young Brits. who might want to work in the EU in the future.

I’m sure there are young Brits who want to work in Europe. Far more off them want to work in Britain. They want better conditions and pay so they can a least own a house. They don’t want special treatment just the same chance as their parents and grandparents did....They very chance you are actively seeking to deny them.

Leaving the EU (on whatever terms) will obviously prejudice job opportunities for young Brits.wanting to work in the EU.Crashing the UK economy won't do anything positive for any Brits of working age, either.

Really don't know why you bother posting on this thread. Most of your posts just troll mine.Got any original opinions?

Yes, I voted remain and haven't changed my mind. I'm also in favor of another vote which I hope will reverse the original decision to leave which think will be a disarster for the country.

And I don't troll you, most of what you post bores me rigid, I just like to pull you up when you contradict yourself in such a smug manner.

As I've already pointed out,you never produce the slightest piece of evidence for the claims you make.

I note you do have opinions. Not sure that they're all that original, though. They are a welome change from your usual 100% antagonistic posts towards me,however.

Even in your adopted country unemployment is running at 50% for young people. You clearly don’t care because your another remainer who shouts “Pull the ladder up, im aboard”

Us people who voted out realise that attitude is why every empire/kingdom has eventually fallen..... The EU will be the shortest there has ever been. Even as it burning around you, you won’t admit it and no amount of playing your fiddle will stop it.

On the contrary both our young adult daughters (both educated in Spain) have good jobs. One in Barcelona. The other in Bogota,Colombia.Obviously I'm pleased about that.I am however concerned about the teenagers I teach at the LFB.Their future in the job market will be difficult.Though compared to their peers they're well placed to succeed.

The EU will still be around long after you and I are dead.

Bore off and divert the thread about your daughters or days at Birmingham Poly.

Oh, you already have.

Oh, and the EU wine cellar (yes there is such a thing) has no doubt grown substantially bearing in mind the arrogant drunk who's in charge. Of course I mean the arrogant unelected drunk who's in charge.

On that note, tell 3 things that have improved in the EU since June 2016.
Hungary has got a lovely new fence around it. Italy has a government that wants to push its own policies. Germany has promised to raise its gdp spending on defence to be in line with the agreed point which it hasn't done since the EU was founded.

It's not a case of what has improved, more what we stand to lose. Once we leave then the boss countries such as Germany and France can push ahead with certain policy that we could have veto'ed. I'm sure that smaller countries might feel pressured to toe the line but we as a nation have mostly oppossed such things as greater intergration, a EU Army etc, will we will not be able to do after 29th March. Our leaving will do more harm than good in my opinion.

the Belgiums introduced the humble hop to our ale and made it taste of something.
who said we have nothing to thank Europe for.
Yeah, I cut Belguim a break when I went to Brugge a couple of years ago. Superb beer, I reckon they export Stella (which you will struggle to find in the Flemish region) and keep the good stuff for themselves. Try Leffe Ruby, Blonde or Brune. Really good sipping beers, but show them some respect, the Blonde and Brune pack a punch.

Tory MEPs were pretty much the only ones to back the Hungarian far right anti-Semitic regime. For the record.

Brussels have been talking about the army and greater integration for quite a while. They are talking about veto's being removed by 2022. It will make no difference whether we are in or out. Read the Lisbon treaty.
