Brexit negotiations thread

48 letters are apparently in.
This isn't my work but worth a share:

Next Tory leader, latest odds:

The one who lied on a bus 6-1
The one who lied about impact assessments 8-1
The one who lied to Parliament and resigned 10-1
The one who lied and didn’t resign 15-1
The one who destroyed the NHS 20-1
The one who didn’t know we were an island 8-1

Can't they go for one that is competent and doesn't lie?

I'd be interested to know who people would want as Tory leader/PM. I know a lot of you are anti Tory but if you had to pick one of these guys to be in charge who would it be?

Does it matter. Even with the worst leader in our history and the complete failure to deliver democracy the Tories are still favourites.

A great time for a new Tory leader to win comfortably whilst appearing to be standing up to Europe, but maintaining the Status Quo.

So obvious you would think Labour could see it coming. The funny thing is they be celebrating when May finally goes.

I think she will win the vote, mainly because a fresh leadership contest will cause further delays to BREXIT.

159 votes will get her over the line.

I quite like Javid as the next lamb to the slaughter. If it's that clown Boris then I'm chucking the wife and kids in the first lorry Dover bound and take our chances wherever we get discovered. South of France will do nicely.

Don’t you fancy Catalonia mate? @Tangled up in Blue has always been in favour of helping & supporting refugees

Worryingly Boris has gone from 4/1 favourite to 7/2 favourite in the last 24hrs

As it's MPs not members who vote that makes it harder for him.
I think Amber Rudd would get support from MPs other than the fact her majority is tiny.
My guess is May will win, but the fact this is happening at all is very disruptive for the government and she is still stuck with her deal which won't get through Parliament.
Her winning today brings a GE closer IMO.

I would like to see May survive and then banish the likes of Boris Johnson and Jacob Rees Mogg to political Siberia forever.

I do have a fear Boris could conceivably make the top 2 which would then go to the membership

In a years time now I'd have thought, seems like May has got this

The guy who learnt that Dover is a rather important trading route towards the end of his short time as Brexit Sec.....oh dear.

Michael Gove made me laugh today. He was asked if this was chaos in regards to the Brexit and Tory leadership mess, he said no. Laura Kuenssberg was shocked at the answer so she asked again, again he said no very firmly. What world is he in to deny the obvious?
