Certainly not as good as most of our support believe we are........or should be!I just think we aren't very good.
They won’t take up boxing or anything that encourages physicality from someone else. They’re happy to take their anger out on inanimate objects that won’t hit back. Bell ends everywhere unfortunately.A few boos last night at half time and full time. Seems to be the norm these days when we lose 45 minutes of a football match.
Also, when we equalised, one lad's immediate reaction was to start kicking in one of Fylde's advertising hoardings. Where do we find these people? Take up boxing or something - let the anger out!
Got to disagree on the traffic wardens though. No one deserves to be abused at work (not even traffic wardens)
If a private sector worker (and these are private sector workers!) was underperforming no company would accept abuse of their employees by their customers. Underperforming employees are dealt with by the mgmt, in our case Kev and co, not customers.
935 vs Wrexham away in 1987so the crowd was 1088 of which around 180-200 were from us. Think thats the smallest league crowd ive ever watched Southend play in front of. Anyone think of a smaller attendance?
You clearly weren't watching SUFC in the 1980s.so the crowd was 1088 of which around 180-200 were from us. Think thats the smallest league crowd ive ever watched Southend play in front of. Anyone think of a smaller attendance?

first game was 1981, but didnt go to many games in the early 80s, started going regularly late 80sYou clearly weren't watching SUFC in the 1980s.

...uhh, nor do they about giving Wes 90 minutes.I don't give a damn about Ebbsfleet.
I seem to recall that our lowest home league attendance of the grim 1980s was only just into four figures, though I can't find verification for this on the net. I'm sure one of our statos can oblige. You clearly weren't watching SUFC in the 1980s.
I very much doubt that's going to happen and I don't blame the club / players. Not sure what Kensdale has done and tbh I don't care. Ask him to apologise, shake hands and get him back in the team!
Nile Ranger was given so many chances so why can't we forgive and forget when it comes to Kensdale?
March 5th 1986. Division 4 game at home to Halifax Town. We won 2-1 in front of a crowd of 1,006.was referring to league games TBF
My little correction. I just found 'enjoy' a bit masochistic! If fans want instant success why don’t they support Man City? Personally I’m willing to endure the challenge of rebuilding the club on and off the field. 3 months ago we nearly never had one.
at least we wonMarch 5th 1986. Division 4 game at home to Halifax Town. We won 2-1 in front of a crowd of 1,006.
