If SCP was in Stoke it doesn’t mean to say the player is from that area. It could be the only time they can meet up and SCP has to get back for s game. The player could come from further up North.

Parma in Serie A or Southend United in League One. It's a tough choice... It may not happen but it gives an idea of what his target may be.

Moving on to slightly more realistic targets... Looks like Cardiff are trying to offload Omar Bogle on loan again - wonder if he's someone we might be interested in? Was brilliant for Grimsby but hasn't really kicked on since then. Had a loan spell at Peterborough last season but didn't start much. Imagine a lot of League One clubs would be interested, though.

Omar Bogle is 6.2ins but according to Peterborough's former manager Grant McCann he is not a target man striker.

Not what SCP says in today's Echo. He says he's been frustrated in the last two signings he's after and they may well not happen until after the season starts. So if true something must have changed very quickly since he gave CP that story yesterday.
