Could be nothing, but Sam Mantom's started following Dru, John White, Oxley and the club on twitter. As well as one of the Bluebelles.

Wouldn't be at all surprised- had he not come on loan I would have said no. Now he's spent half a season with us a move down south easy not be out the question as I think he genuinely enjoyed it (to his surprise).

Would work very well with Drew

Guess the Bluebelle time?

A friend of mine who works for Sky Sports thinks that were close to signing Sonny Bradley from Plymouth. I've bet him £20 that we won't, and he's taken the bet! I guess we'll see.

Did you find anything in his bin bags that might indicate he is about to sign a deal?

Today our leader (CP) is confident that Messers Turner, Cox and Smith will sign new deals as talks have gone well and continue. (Echo). If Turner and Cox sign up then that will be great in my book. Happy for Smith too, but not quite so pressing.

Smith is firmly our number 2 now barring a severe loss of form (possible) or an injury to Oxley. I'd have expected him to look at his options before signing.

His shoulder injury was so bad that I'm sure he's delighted that the club have supported and stuck by him, and offered him a new deal.

Unless he wants to drop into non-league I'm not sure any club would be that interested unless he signed as a backup, a keeper with as little experience as him is a gamble and they can't even send a scout to assess him because he's been injured all year. Plus our goalkeeping coaches are better than most in the league so he's better off staying with us where he knows the coaches are going to help him develop his game.
