I'm not too familiar with Hooper but between these three strikers I wondering who's going to do MAF's work?

If we get Hooper back in the fold well that would be amazingly impressive. As for someone doing MAF's work, maybe Vassell?

Would be our first Sudanese player... that's something! :winking:

Would be a great signing but his contract expires end of June and he’s 24 on the 12th July. As Cheltenham will almost certainly offer him a new deal, it would go to tribunal and we could end up paying a hefty fee, so can’t see this one happening.

Anyone know what happens if he declined their contract offer and we approached him once he’s 24? I’m assuming it goes on age at contract expiry?

It was an initial 1 year deal- not surprisingly I think Cheltenham have an option to extend

On wikipedia it says this.......After breaking into the first-team, in August 2017 Eisa signed a contract extension with the club until 2020.

Ah. Definitley not happening then. 23 years old and 23 goals in League Two, if he’s signed until 2020 then I guess Cheltenham would want about £750k which is probably about £740k more than we can afford to pay.

Yes. That's why I asked Lenny, where did he get this Eisa rumour from. It doesn't make sense.
Chris Phillips has corrected the Ben/Luke Hyam name mistake on his twitter echo link. Too late for the printed echo this morning tho.

Hyam's a combative midfielder but has had a lot of problems with injuries last couple of years. Lots of Championship experience. Loves a booking.
