Hows Young Freddy Junior coming on,
Am sure he capable of nut megging Mooney with the ball still at his feet
Make him youngest Blues player ever!!!!!

Saw Port Vale rated him as one of their worst players

As we often prove fans views are often nonsense on a biblical scale- the partially sighted leading the blind. Played mainly in Championship and L1 where his record compares favourably with Simpson ( who has done it for 1 half of 1 season in L2)- so if we did sign him it would not be a disappointment given we already have Cox, Ranger and Mooney

Interesting to see Barnard has scored 2 goals already in 4 games of the Conference.

Scored 1 in 31 games last season in League Two.

Too few games played but that could be a measurement of how much easier it is to score at that level.
Dont get too excited yet-I think I've heard one of his goals was a pen. and the other was a goalkeeping ****-up!

But that would mean our captain couldn't play

And with 46 league games plus others in the cup, there will be many games our captain doesn't play at the age of 37.
It's also possible that, although he's our captain, there may be a left sided centre half out there that's better than him. Bizarre suggestion, I know.

I would be over joyed at Appiah, seems more consistent at League 2, then a league 1 level.

But definitely better than our current options of Mooney or Williams.

We're really going for it on the striker front. Robinson, Sanchez Watt(Oh dear) and N'Guessan on trial. Premier League striker looks like signing, and the Jay Simpson saga back in the ballance with both clubs getting closer to what they want.
This looks like the end for Mooney and Williams, especially with Ranger showing he's in a different League to those two.

Ranger in a different league to the other two? I agree he is potentially better, but has played 26 mins against the awful Sheff Utd. Let's judge him after he has played 5 plus games.

I'm also judging him on what I've have seen at training. Trust me, he's different class to those two.

No good if he spends the season injured though. No doubt he is potentially good, problem is in the last few years he has failed to produce. I really hope we see the best of him, but let's not get carried away and pin our our hopes on him. That would be dangerous.

True. To be fair though he's been seriously unlucky so far, rather than brittle or a classic sicknote

We're not, and nor is Phil Brown. That's why he's gone striker crazy at the moment. He also see's what Mooney and Williams are doing, or not doing.
