He comes with the best scoring record we can realistically expect, I never thought we would be in a position to get a 20 goal a season player, even if it was just one season. Agree though, 5k a week on someone still a bit of a gamble. Doesn't sound right to me, and no offence but if you arent 100% confident in your source its just more hearsay.

Even in the Championship we weren't paying that kind of money so I remain skeptical.
 
Think somebody mentioned Reece Burke, he has been made available for Championship clubs on loan so that isn't happening.
 
To be completely honest I really hope we don't sign him. Bloke seems like a bit of a **** with all this not being involved in the squad for match days because he supposedly wants out and if the rumoured wages are true then it just seems like a recipe for disaster.

Fair play to Ron and Phil for going for someone like this though. Not every window we actually approach a 20 goal a season man and even have a chance of signing them.

I thought Pole Position was a motorbike shop on Hobleythick Lane ........... I presumed he was in the shop (which isn't too far from Roots Hall) for a clandestine meeting away from prying eyes with a soon to be revealed new signing ..............
