So he can do or say whatever he wants?Because Ron ruined the finances of the club for his own personal gain, while Maher is trying to improve it on the field !

of course not, but the fans will probably give him much more slack. Especially if he's giving it back to people that are abusing himSo he can do or say whatever he wants?
We may have been on top, but we never really looked like scoring. The first subs allowed Parillon to move to a more central role, possibly where he needs to play. I would have said that was a more attacking move. Something had to change and I took that as a positive. Kevin can't win whatever he does, the idiot that sits close to me went into one when Parillon was subbed, but he had nothing left to give. Not a good enough reason according to him.I still can’t get my head round the change of formation Saturday when we were on top and all over Solihull. Madness to me that he switched to go 3 back leaving us with one less body in attacking areas. Decisions like that are why I doubt Maher has it in him to get us out the league.
I still think he should be able to rise above ‘most of it’ there’s exceptional instances of course and in certain situations I’m sure it’s justified but there’s multiple times when I don’t think it is. But once again, Maher gets protected.of course not, but the fans will probably give him much more slack. Especially if he's giving it back to people that are abusing him
Well yes, it does come with the territory. It shows the pressure is really getting to himI still think he should be able to rise above ‘most of it’ there’s exceptional instances of course and in certain situations I’m sure it’s justified but there’s multiple times when I don’t think it is. But once again, Maher gets protected.
All managers get stick, if you can’t handle it then you shouldn’t be in the job.
So because I’ve raised an issue I’m just looking for reasons to target Maher or be negative? Or are you suggesting that because he’s been criticized for other topics we’re not allowed to mention anything else?Looks like some of the usual anti-Maher brigade have gotten bored of flagging him off for formation, timing of subs, tactics, signings and have a new topic to go on about.
I'm no 'rose tinted Maher can do no wrong' supporter. I do tend to back him on the whole. The detractors are boring with their repetitive negativity though.
Get a grip. You are appearing to invent a victim status for yourself, both on the forum and in the stand.I would happily concede if I thought I was wrong, if a fan boo’s at Maher is that considered abuse?? He turned and swore at the fans after that on Saturday. That’s a fact. Sorry if I’m questioning ‘king kev’
Oh grow up! This isn’t about me at all! It’s about Maher. I’m no victim in life or on here. Once again, you criticise Maher on here and the pro Maher side get personal.Get a grip. You are appearing to invent a victim status for yourself, both on the forum and in the stand.
Your last sentence is complete persecution complex. The very next sentence after you say you are not a victim.Oh grow up! This isn’t about me at all! It’s about Maher. I’m no victim in life or on here. Once again, you criticise Maher on here and the pro Maher side get personal.
Alright. I asked you if Maher abuses people without receiving anything first as I have never seen that in the East Greens, which is where he stands. You did not answer that. I agree with you that booing is not abuse. Although you simultaneously don't care what I say whilst wanting to prove I have no answer. You’re the person talking about me, not me. It was and never has been about me. I could talk about you as well but I’ll choose not to.
I couldn’t care less what your views are. The fact you’re now talking about me instead of the actual issue i raised, does prove you had no answer though.
We’re done because I did answer you and you started calling me a victim.Alright. I asked you if Maher abuses people without receiving anything first as I have never seen that in the East Greens, which is where he stands. You did not answer that. I agree with you that booing is not abuse. Although you simultaneously don't care what I say whilst wanting to prove I have no answer.
I think we're done here.
Loads of people lost the plot when Ron swore at a fan, why is Maher different?
That’s a fair point but to deny it completely is also wrong in my opinion. I know other people are aware of it.Because as it stands nobody can actually clarify what Maher has allegedly said. Whereas Ron said it on tape for all to hear
. Kevin often has a few fans sitting near to the bench having a shout off about players or substituting but I have only seen him turn and say something back once i think Currie calmed him down he usually just mutters something to Currie , But I do believe any fan paying their money is entitled to have a opinion right or wrong ,Are you really claiming that Maher randomly swears at fans?
I sit in the East Greens, quite near him, and I still await my turn. Looking forward to it.
It is ok to concede one point, rather than dig in relentlessly with whataboutery and daft claims.
That is because they have no rational argument. Hero worship and sentiment is the only logical explanation for supporting someone who has patently failed at his job so personal attacks and the usual litany of well worn excuses are employed.. No other manager would be given such latitude, cf Chris Powell who always conducted himself with dignity and professionalism but got the chop as it was clear we were going in one direction only. If COSU keep Maher on despite all the evidence he will take us nowhere the least they can do is send him on a couple of courses, Anger Management and Media Training, if their budget allows of course.Oh grow up! This isn’t about me at all! It’s about Maher. I’m no victim in life or on here. Once again, you criticise Maher on here and the pro Maher side get personal.
...because like me and thee, employees (players) want security. We probably weren’t going to get promoted or relegated.
Why didn’t we sign loanees for cover and wait until the market opened up rather than blow the budget taking a punt on what turned out the be some very mediocre players?
Correct. If we aren’t prepared to invest in that area (and it’s traditionally the hardest) and bring in a current proven goalscorer, then there will be a decent chance it doesn’t get fixed.Who would you have played up front today? Walker? A half fit Kendall? We don’t have out and out goalscorers. Had we not had a transfer embargo we might’ve signed Ollie Pearce, who .. incidentally.. scored a hat trick for York today.
