Second poster for the Wall of Geek ordered. Avengers poster signed by 11 people, 12x8, £8 all in. Bargain. Got another 13 lined up like it to order as and when too.
 
Shame that a Co-Op seems more likely. In terms of Island history, it is quite a significant site and Wetherspoons invariably do a decent job of acknowledging local history when they take over a site.

And selling cheap beer, of course...

The most iconic history that pub has was it being known as a flying bottle and you wiped your feet on the way out.

Semi interesting fact that my grandad was a fireman and helped rescue many people that night, and when he came home his first son (my uncle) was born the same night.

I've heard many stories about this flood lol.

My grand mother and grandfather father and aunt lived on a house boat on benfleet creek and woke up floating across the rock.
For many years i waited for the coach across from the king ****.
