What did ya get?

I am only starting on the bass so bought a second hand Squire precision in pretty much as new condition.

If I get on with it I will spend a bit more money but by all accounts they are decent enough instruments.

Hip injected with steroid jab. Needle was at least 20cms long but I was a brave boy and didn't cry. Hip aches but not hurting now. Got from surgery to dentist in double quick time and the nice dentist stuck my crown back in. Just need 3 points tonight now for a happy hat-trick of good stuff.

As a contractor I don't get paid for bank holidays but I have just been informed I will be paid a full days rate for the coronation.

Finally a bit of cashback from the Royal Family (although I also got paid for the queens funeral as well)

I'm assuming I won't get paid.

I've just started a new contract. On my first day (last Tuesday) I found out the company don't work Friday afternoons, which is great if you're a perm!

In fairness, the guy who hired me has said that if I end up working the equivalent hours for 5 full days (which I do because I tend to roll out of bed and start work at 7.30 - this gig is fully remote) he's happy for me to bill for 5 full days.
