Our entire car was covered with that dust and rain splats. Must have been unlucky with the position on our drive. Dropped into the car wash on the A127 next morning and joined the long queue of similar vehicles looking identical. The Eastern Europeans that run it were probably thinking all their Christmases had come at once, and the number washing and cleaning was double their normal crew of 5.

It depends on the angle you look at it. three of them are shallow and if I had to I could live with them, just, but the pointed indent is the one that clinches a repair. I hoped he could just panel them out but it was not to be as he reckons the deep one will crack the paint work when he does it.

Funny enough ... at the time I was wishing I had invested my money in a car wash!

I feel guilty now, it was really cheap shot. But we’ve all been there and strangely I too had a nasty scrape gifted to me at Wickes, Rayleigh Weir. Worst things happen in life, of course, but some things really **** you off....

Some time ago someone reversed into the rear passenger door of my car while I was stationary and it cost their insurers £720.00 to fix, just saying,
