Question What is making you happy today?

Fitbit are carrying out a recall and refund on the Ionic as a small number have overheated and got hot, burning the wearer.

Why does that make me happy?

I bought an Ionic second hand about a year ago for £50. Wore it until a couple of days ago when I decided to wear a Garmin Vivo 4 instead to allow me to wear a proper watch again too.

So just registered for a refund and reckon I probably have about £150 coming my way in the next few weeks

seems unethical to me.

This man was singing in the street for pennies when by chance the lead female singer from the Phantom of the Opera ongoing play here in Covent Garden bumped into him.

Wow a **** day has just turned into happiness watching that

Southend Hospital A&E. I danced the dance of end of thumb way too near my mitre chop saw whilst it was still spinning. Result? top of thumb and nail hanging by a thread. Two hours at A&E later, thumb back together tip still intact and a wonderful dolly to show off my wounded soldier act. Not too much sympathy at home, mind. Self inflicted etc. Thank you Southend A&E.

I have just seen a 40 year old man with beard, hiking clothes and walking poles on Canterbury High Street.

His rucksack contained a boom box blaring out drum and bass at top volume

You'll have to let us know, how much you spent on fuel from start to finish.
Ah, don't know. We'd filled up on Tuesday, and then filled up at the Tesco opposite the hotel when we left Sunday morning. Really easy and pleasant drive home unlike what I've heard from those who went home Saturday.

Had a great weekend though, stayed at the Jurys Inn in Swindon, which was excellent - the Ukes were brilliant as always (and were staying in our hotel). The Casa Hotel opposite Chesterfield's ground was also very good.

Emilia Jones and Troy Kotsur from the film Coda up for Bafta awards for best female actress and best supporting actor. Brilliant film and I hope they both do well.
