Question What is making you happy today?

Being retired. Happily sitting on a bench up by the floral clock reading SZ and waiting for the shopper.
Cool breeze, sun shining, what's not to like.

My son got the GCSE passes he needed to do the college course he wanted to do. Worked so hard the last few months and got higher than his predicted grades

Great news! Does he want to be a wholetime fire fighter or does he have other plans?

Wholetime fire fighter. Starts his Public Services Level 3 course in 2 weeks. He is also a qualified Lifeguard now and along with his Bronze, Silver and Gold DofE he is currently completing with the Fire Cadets, I am sure he has enough in his locker when there is a recruitment drive

Good luck to him, hopefully his experience as a fire cadet will help. I did Public Services at college it’s a great course.

Cheers Matt. He isn't the most academic but I think he will enjoy Public Services

Neither was I and it helped give me the skills and confidence to get jobs within the Public Services. I’m sure he’ll excel in whatever he ends up doing.

Great day! My eldest son got 5 level 9s; 2 level 8s, 3 level 7s and a level 6. Which in old money is 7 A stars, 3 A’s and a B.

So proud!
