Question What is making you happy today?

Diet and training paying off;- a stone lost and 4 runs a week have sorted out a few issues mentally and physically.
I am missing the cakes, chocolate, biscuits, cheese, red meat and BEER! badly, but feel ready to moderately sample again now.

What’s making me happy today is knowing that the b’stard who tried killing a police officer last night will probably die in prison.
Hope the screws p*** in his food everyday. I wish you nothing but pain and misery oxygen thief.

Well done! Doing similar myself it's very hard at times but like you say very rewarding too and a great feeling seeing weight come off

The appearance of a Great Spotted Woodpecker on our bird feeding station just now. First time we've had one and he gave the peanuts a serious noshing knocking out the way very affronted sparrows.

The remortgage of my other halfs flat has finally gone through (we are releasing equity for our deposit on the new house). That means we are all good to progress our end, definitely a weight off our minds. The issues we had with this were ridiculous!

We have loads on our bird feeders plus the occasional green woodpecker.

Saw 3 excellent music programmes on Frog tv/Arte last night.

1.Eric Burden documentary.

2.Tina Turner live show from 2008 in Amsterdam.

3,Dave Crosby documentary.

Also enjoyed watching 0.Lyon's easy 3-0 away win at Monaco on Canal plus.

What was the Crosby doc?

A programme by Cameron Crewe, the film director, featuring stuff from DC's 2017 tour in the US.Apparently he hasn't spoken to Graham Nash for2 years (they were in daily contact for 45 years before that).Very candid documentary.DC blamd himself for the break up of the Byrds (which he didn't regret) & also CSN plus CSNY which he did.

Edit.He didn't look in good nick but that's hardly a suprise.

Do you mean Crowe? Of Almost Famous & the Before Sunrise triology?

Thanks, will look out for it on Arte. The surprise is that Crosby is still with us in any kind of nick at all. His last few albums have been really good imo.

Message from The Queen duly ordered for my parents' 60th Wedding anniversary in September.

What an incredibly easy process, probably the easiest website I've ever negotiated to order something.
