Question What is making you happy today?

You've just got to get one of these MK, they look really cool and with the walkie Talkie add on you could pretend you were directing trains, a winner surely?

I went for one of these so MK Jnr can treat it like a rubber ball to her hearts content...

What is it?

Its a 2014 KTM Revelator with Ultegra groupset.

My brother has put it together for me, he has an online bike shop and specialises in KTM , he got a load of Revelator Frames (in the 3300 Colour way) because the 3300 didn't sell, high end frame with cheaper groupset etc.
He made one up for himself with the Ultegra . Now he is changing to a more aggressive racing setup by getting a smaller frame so I am buying the bike off him.

Just got to get fitter to do it credit....

Nice although I am a mountain biker myself.

I would like to do Road cycling but just don't have the time and Hadleigh MTB track is ten mins cycle from my house.

I have a KTM rigid mtb as well , but that is primarily for riding with Mrs FS on trails and the such like.

I am now aiming to get the speed up and the miles in in a very belated midlife crisis....

If it goes well enough I might try a few veteran Time trials in a couple of years . 60 years old seems the ideal time to start racing .....

Problem is , I am from a family of Racers, Mum and Dad (and one pair of Grandparents) raced , Dad was National standard in the 50's , so its sort of in the blood.
Although I have the madly competitive streak, I don't have the ability.....

I couldn't justify a carbon MTB.......

I've got a ridgeback Velocity in gun metal grey with two mudguards and two black paniers for our shopping, so has Mrs RHB. We also have two matching sweaters when we go out together on them.
