I cleaned the car earlier this evening and found a nail/ tack in a tyre, I was going to pincer it out but then thought that no garage (Bell Tyres) is open on Good Friday. And with it being a BH Monday too it could be a car less long weekend, and likely expensive. Tyre has only done 6k miles.
Bell Tyres did quick repair, and showed me, using soap water over nail to make bubbles where air was slow leaking. Minimal cost compared to getting a full flat or blow out. And peace of mind, safety first.
As I waited by traffic lights watching world go by it appeared 1 in 4 drivers were on a hand held phone! Bonkers.

You’d think with the rule changes and stricter fines that would stop people, obviously not. I travel to London every day for work and see it all the time and they don’t try and hide it. People watching YouTube videos on FaceTime etc, madness!

Problem is police don’t have the time or resources to spend catching these knobs.

Police? Atm they are generally a wasteful and top heavy organisation which needs radical shake up. They are living on the " too busy" legend without taking responsibility for doing the basics.
Elected PCC and their entourages are a huge waste of money for starters.

People that hold their phone like they are on a video call when talking but then hold the bottom of their smartphone to their ear when listening to the other person talking.

Although I just mentioned this to my wife and she said it's because the speaker is at the bottom?

Answer me this. When was the last time you actually saw a patrol car on a motorway? Apart from actually on the way to, or attending, an accident, I think it was around 10 years ago for me.

I do a lot of motorway driving for my commute, M11 mainly but sometimes M25 when the M11 is busy or shut. I often see them but I think they’ve got a base on the M11. Not always on blue lights or hooning it. See traffic cops pulling the idiots on the 406 playing wacky racers regularly.

It's good to know they're still around. I drive on motorways mainly to get to Southend (M25) and to Marlow for work (M25 and M40) and I can honestly say I can't actually remember the last time I saw a police patrol car. I see plenty of highways cars, but they're not the same.

Haha, see plenty of those too. They’re quite good at making people slam on their anchors. You see someone coming steaming up in the right lane, see one of those and slam on their breaks. Realise it’s highways and then steam off!

The problem with the patrol cars is I don’t think they bother with mobile phones, they focus more on speeding. Think it’s easier for them to prove and less hassle.

Email accounts compromised by a Taiwanese hacker, and the passwords were considered 'very strong' as well ???

Now going through the lengthy process of securing every single important account tied to them.

Feel your pain my friend!
Older people have the right idea by keeping everything under the bed and a baseball bat!
Luckily secured everything important to those emails, changed passwords and hopefully locked the hacker out for the time being.

Currently transferring data to 2 new accounts with Proton Mail (1 professional, 1 spam/recreational) and once I've done that will be requesting google delete both my emails.

Got an interview tomorrow morning too last thing I needed was this!

Turned on BBC Breakfast this morning only to find my screen full of the oh so incredibly smug and thinks he sooo funny, Dan W**ker.

Thought he’d gone. What a bummer.

Greggs had run out of bacon this morning and I did not have time to wait for a new batch to cook so I went for a sausage bap instead.

I am no stranger to the darker side of meat products but if you go with Greggs sausages then you are walking in a very dark shadow indeed.
Did you enjoy it though? I opted for a sausage baguette from Greggs at an M1 services recently, can’t say it was awful. Did the job.
