So at 5.20pm tonight I get an email from the Southend Theatres telling me Ben Elton is doing his one man show at the Palace Theatre. So I click the book now button almost immediately............Sold Out WTF.
Nice place but a bit remote.Looking for a place to buy in Burnham on Crouch. See one pop up late yesterday evening. Ring first thing this morning and it has already been sold... This has only happened 4 times now :( Massively frustrating.
I bought a new laptop a couple of weeks ago. I had it made bespoke with all the bits I wanted. But, I had to send it back because I couldn't find a docking station to fit and it had an American keyboard, not UK.
They emailed me yesterday to say that they're not giving me a refund because it was damaged. I can assure you there was no damage when it left here and I put it back in the packaging it came in.
I now have to have an argument with Royal Mail as I had it insured when I sent it back. I just know I'm going to get nowhere.
Watch this space, there might be a very high spec laptop going cheap.
Words I never thought I’d see. Hope you manage to catch him elsewhere. So at 5.20pm tonight I get an email from the Southend Theatres telling me Ben Elton is doing his one man show at the Palace Theatre. So I click the book now button almost immediately............Sold Out WTF.
My sister in law had the same issue. The only ones that end up being left are the ones that are overpriced or have issues. As she found out when she moved into her house she bought and the boiler was ****ed.Looking for a place to buy in Burnham on Crouch. See one pop up late yesterday evening. Yep it's a nightmare! My sister in law had the same issue. The only ones that end up being left are the ones that are overpriced or have issues. As she found out when she moved into her house she bought and the boiler was ****ed.
Not sure why the survey didn’t pick that up and it’s her own fault for not letting anyone check out the house with her.
Depends on the level of survey. My sister in law had the same issue. The only ones that end up being left are the ones that are overpriced or have issues. As she found out when she moved into her house she bought and the boiler was ****ed.

And as if by magic, I tried the link again just now and up popped the ability to book. tickets, game on it seemsSaw him at the cliffs shortly before covid - was very good.
I think this show is a rearranged date so most of the tickets would've been bought a year or 2 ago!

The Ben Elton show is at the Palace, and for all it's age the seats there are ten times better than the cliffs. You're right they have been threatening a refit for ages, no sign of it yet and the seating is bordering on appalling, probably because there are both collapsible and removeable for stand up concerts and events. The Cliffs is a great night out. I seem to remember they announced a multi million pound re-fit, but that could have been pre Covid. Now We're a City, hopefully they'd get extra funding.

The Palace remains a great place to see a play,a group or a one man show.Pleased to say that we'll be going back there in May,the day before our last home game against Torquay.I've never been to the Palace but heard good things about it. It's more like a West End Theatre I'm told. They're owned by the same company I think. They both do well though, we're lucky to see some good shows in the City.
