Whilst I’d agree that these betting companies are fiends, let’s not forget that there are millions of people in this country, and hundreds of millions around the world who gamble sensibly & responsibly.

Me being one of them. I love gambling.

But I’ve seen the bad side of it first hand. My oldest friend on this planet has suffered with gambling problems for about 13-14 years.

His addiction was merely a distraction from other issues he was going through. Unfortunately the gambling excarbated those issues, which in turn lead to the gambling getting worse & worse, like a vicious cycle.

Yep, I'm the same. I have always gambled and mixed with poker players and gamblers. I'm sensible, but have many friends that have now got into deep trouble playing the FOBT's in the bookies, and the online casino's and slots. The problem has been made much worse by being able to play on their mobile's, wherever they are, usually when the other half is not about. Very sad.

I went off piste today and ordered a Greggs Sausage baguette instead of my regular bacon one.

Now I am no stranger to cheap meat but it really wouldn't surprise me if these sausages were part of a cash deal out the back of a van at a motorway service station.

First it was Streisland, next Diana Ross who make ridiculous statements attacking the men who were abused by the "King of Pop". Have they not got agents who advise them to keep their thoughts private?

I imagine these two probably knew MJ a lot better than most punters who watched the documentary.

I very much doubt they knew what went on behind closed (or even locked) doors. Irregardless of that fact, defending MJ would be close to career suicide in the present climate - I very much doubt a young artist would. Those two are comfortable in their millions.

I wonder if DR and BS can explain how according to reports, Jordy got every mark around Michael Jackson's genitals right. He would have had to seen that a few times close up to get everything right. He was so accurate that him and the parents were paid off immediately to stop it going to court. Also, it's not just about those two that have come out of the woodwork, there were loads of alleged abused young boys that were paid off, but can never say anything in public as part of the settlement deal. If they could now speak, I think no one would be in any doubt.

Childen! "Dad.....can't go to school I don't feel well...." So I rush to work to get my worklap top, and here I am, "working" from home whilst MK Jnr is singing and dancing along to Trolls. :Angry Mob:

Always send them in unless you can see they aren't well - school will always send them home if necessary! Children are deserving of Oscars when trying to convince you they don't want to go to school!

I'm lucky I can work from home with any complaints....but she definitely in tomorrow!

Patience mate, he’s got to wade through the other couple of hundred formation/line-up/motivational experts that currently reside on SZ first.

Bit like the old politics forum used to be then...:Gun:

been almost a week now traps empty,no sounds of scurrying. No smell yet but finding ants in the kitchen...waiting for the whiff and taking the kitchen apart :vC
The thing is when they die its almost as if they disolve. Maybe a few mousey bones but not much else. You may even get away without a whiff. Keep an eye out for the ants carrying bits of it out, it would make an interesting You Tube vid :Smile2:

Rats on the other hand stink when they decompose.

We had an incident in our office about 20 years ago and I regularly smell the same stench at tube stations.

Ggrrr. 2 out of the last 3 birthday presents I have ordered online have been plonked on the front doorstep with the parcel in plain sight for anyone to pinch. Usually I get the little card that says I wasn't in, and can pick it up at Short Street, which is fair enough. Loads of druggies and dodgy people walk down my road as it's a cut through to Cluny Square. I'm not the type to stitch anyone up, so luckily for the sender's, I'm not going to say they didn't arrive, and can I have my money back. But so easy to do.

Bloomin' head cold and cough - never get ill normally but this is the 3rd one this year! Coughed so much yesterday at work that it made my nose bleed, and have managed just a couple of hours sleep. Could have done with doing absolutely nothing this weekend, typical that it's a busy one!
