Had a fairly big brekkie, but I'm bloody starving and it's nowhere near lunch. #cheekyTwixtime

My wife bought our boys a Cadbury chocolote desert with milk buttons as an after dinner treat last night. One of these:

Both of them only had half. I therefore had a whole one!

Leon.

A haloumi wrap that was all wrap and no filling then they gave me a side of peas instead of hummus.

It's not as if the place is cheap either.

The sad thing is if I went back and struck the person who served me to the ground I would be deemed the guilty party.

Says the Oasis fan.

Or let me rephrase.

Whatever Oasis were or what they become, they were certainly never bland. There early songs were glorious, and inspired an entire generation and youth movement. Brit Pop may have had it's many detractors, but when it was good, it was very, very good - Columbia and Champagne Supernova for example.

Liam & Noel were and sometimes still are ***** - outspoken, loudmouth, arrogant and bolshy, but thats how pop & rock stars should be. Not so nice and harmless that you could take them home to meet you nan.

Did you stop listening to them after 2005?

The first two albums? No, I still listen to them today. I agree that they went a bit toilet, but still managed the occasional good tune. DM & WTSMG are (in my opinion, and if you don't agree I'll not lose any sleep) just glorious.

I don't disagree that their first two studio albums are fantastic. I disagree that Oasis have never been bland.

So today I thought I'd re-start biking to work. A few minutes in and as I reach the the bottom of an underpass, another chap comes from the other side of the underpass, we meet at the bottom, he wobbles towards me, I take action to avoid and clip the kerb. Face meets pavement.

Minor cuts and bruises, a sore wrist but a broken helmet.

 Still, could have been far worse and he did come back to make sure I was ok.

Pro tip. Always wear gloves.

Fortunately I was mate, not cuts and bruises there. My left elbow is a bit worse for wear, and I'm going to have a lovely bruise on my cheek which will make it look like I was at Tottenham/Millwall this weekend.

But my carrot cake got squashed.
