My bloody arm!!! :'(

I've got a massage booked for the morning (not that sort of massage!) which should help and then i've got to go straight to the hospital after that for a nerve test, but it is ****ing me off so much at the moment.

Yeah, lost 2 cats always upsetting. I really dislike my current cat, but sadly(?) my daughter adores her, so I guess it's here for the foreseeable.

not so much hacked off, but gutted after having our cat put to sleep today.

upset myself and now have to tell the kids :-(

Let me know a) how you go about it, and b) how they take it. Our cat is getting on a bit (lot) and we might have to do the same in the next year or so.

I took the easy option and let my wife tell them. She told them one at a time, my boys are 11 and 13, my youngest has been extremely quiet and tearful - whereas my eldest was quite upset at first, but he seemed OK this morning before i left for work.

We also have a younger cat, who is in and out of the catflap, 'meowing' at us constantly (they're orientals, so quite a loud breed, but he has been very vocal - sadly I can't explain where his mate is... At least the kids are able to channel their attention onto him, which is helping.

Would be nice to have a bit of luck occasionally, a flat tyre on the taxi whilst on the way to Heathrow wasn't at all welcome

I got caught in the jam on the A13 on Thursday then the jam trying to get back onto the M23 at Gatwick when they decided to close the motorway for overhead cable repairs. At least I got home unlike the poor bugger who died on the A13.

Very true. Apologies to anyone caught up in delays on the A127 near the M25 yesterday around 3.45 p.m. as a result of a ludicrously hard to release spare tyre!!! Had the police scratching their heads as they tried to help!
