Being 2736 in the queue for tickets to Bjork's RAH show. Seriously, every time I've ever tried to buy tickets for a massively oversubscribed gig I always miss out. How the **** do you get lucky?

****. Just remembered - I was drunk last night and I agreed to go to this if my mate gets tickets. Hope he gets lucky.

Although I knew it was futile I did leave my browser open - it sold out when I got to 908. Fine dining tickets still available for £249 :stunned:

It is a bummer. I got incredibly lucky with Kate Bush, and in times past got tickets for The Verve and REM in small(ish) venues - though that was before you could buy them online. No douby they'll be on resale sites for 5 times their face value now.

So, wife wants a coffee table so we go to Ikea and buy a coffee table that she likes (£75)....get it home and I put it together and put it in the lounge. Wife no longer likes or even wants a coffee table and I can't take it back as all the packaging is ripped.

Happy days.

Anyone want a coffee table? Yours for £100.

Suggest you give her a 'good hiding!'.

I was on at 9am and didn't even manage to get in the queue so technically you have had a more rewarding Bjork experience than me....

Bloody hell. I had 2 windows on the go as well - the venue and also See Tickets, and I went straight for the restricted view seats thinking that would be an easier bet.

On holiday in Dorset and went to Durdle Door today - which is a beautiful tourist attraction, however it makes me mad to see the rubbish people leave on the beach :-< Plastic bags, plastic bottles, glass beer and wine bottles, and bags of people's general crap, I even spotted a babies nappies, wtf is wrong with these people?!?!

Rubber neckers.

Fair old delay on the M1 southbound this morning, which cleared up as soon as we passed the aftermath of a smash on the northbound side. What's wrong with people?

The Graniud turning into Zzap 64! as there's a big article in about how to win at Pokemon Go. **** me, the lefties favourite is on the way out. :stunned:
