Need a vaccination before jetting off on holiday, the pharmacist made a mistake with the order and I now have to have 2 jabs instead of 1, as he ordered the junior vaccine which is half the size. I hate needles too! Talk about first world problems.

My son is autistic and is very socialable so I resent the classic behaviour remark. It isn't a one size fits all thing.

Not everyone who is autistic is like that obviously, however it is the type of behaviour typically shown by someone who is. Almost text book. That is all I meant.

I know you meant no harm OBL. Sounds more like many young British teenagers who's parents forgot how important social skills are. Still makes life easier for the parents short term but they then have to live with the result much longer.

Commuter bus yesterday morning didn't show - so had to catch later Arriva bus, and got later train and hence late to work. Yesterday evening, Charing Cross evacuated because of a fire alarm, had to wait until station re-opened, so train delayed, but less than 30 minutes, so no repay! And to top it off, this morning, power issues at Sevenoaks, so late again this morning.

Complaining that your delay wasn't long enough? Yep, I'm full of sympathy.

haha - Im sure Southeastern deliberately make it so their trains are just short of the requirement to make a payment to all of us affected.

Very possibly. LM route Birmingham to Euston has a good 15 min wait at Northampton which allows it to eat up any delays it accrued up to then.

Could be worse, you could have been on that other line "Southern", what with their track record lately (excuse the pun) of shorter trains, cancellations and if your lucky just severe delays.(although, in hindsight, maybe not as bad, at least you would have got a refund.... if you could find the staff to advise, that is).

Just seen on the news that they are planning a 5 day strike in August, I wonder if anyone will actually notice?? Fortunately for me, I never have to travel on that line, although I'm told that to call it a "complete shambles" is more than a compliment.

Just had a back molar drop out.Been loose for ages.Wanted to go to the dentist about it but he was on holiday in the first fortnight of July.

Been getting letter from Green Star Energy in the post, in the name of "The Occupier" so been chucking them in the recycling thinking they're junk. Opened one last night and it turns out they think that they're our energy supplier (they're not). Ring up to find out WTF is going on, and the previous owner switched to them on the 1st July, knowing damn well they were moving out on the 5th July. All very odd.

Check credit ratings etc on your new address; it might be just the old owners playing with the energy company as a "get back" or worse.

Cheers I will do. Don't think they're dodgy, he's coming round to pick up mail at some point. In my previous house the (grown) children of couple I bought it off were being chased by debt collectors! Didn't affect me getting credit.

Note to self. When cleaning the back of the truck off over the tip, don't park next to a very dead and very flat fox. And I thought they stank when they are alive.

Date night last and the nearby theatre had The Rocky Horror Picture Show on. There were loads of young girls walking around in stockings & suspenders and saucy undies everywhere. It was shocking. :winking:
