Our dress code changed last year, but that only applies for non client facing roles. Try getting into Lloyds without a tie!
very good, haven't you got work to be getting on with? heard the trains are up the swanny today!
Probably but **** the commuters.
In all seriousness, hot weather and railways don't get on. Tracks can buckle to easily and that's not my job guv'nor.
The only issue for me is that the boys are struggling to sleep. We ended up taking my eldest's duvet downstairs. He slept on the sofa in the lounge where it is much cooler. If we had this kind of weather for more than a couple of days every other year I'd invest in air conditioning. Other than that, bring it on!
Underwriting agency in Leigh, mainly focus on construction liability - yourself?
My only quibble is the fact I have to wear a suit and tie even in this heat, but I'm still not complaining as the evenings are wonderful and nice to sit in the garden after a long day
We're casual dress here, but some blokes are wearing shorts today - that's a step too far for me, I'm not a gardener.
I shudder to think what my Dad - long sleeves, double cuffs, cut-back collar and tie, even when working in the humid Gibraltarian summer - would have made of the modern day office dress code!

I have and it's never been an issue.
Yes, yes is it.It is getting quite grey and windy in MK at the moment. It's going to **** down isn't it, and of course I've got no coat or brolly.
Yes, yes is it.
Seeing an idiot today on his powerful motorbike with not only himself in just shorts and a t shirt, but his young son riding pillion with the same attire. These people will learn their lessons when they come off and have no skin left!
It's bad enough coming off a mountain bike with no pads.
