Another letter from Virgin Media this morning, saying the monthly fee rising by another £2.50

This is I think the third rise in the last 12 months. Becoming a real ****take.

Same from Sky except it's a £2.75 increase. Just cancelling it now the money grabbing *****.

Not in the same league as you pair, but when o2 sold off it's home broadband to Sky my monthly charge was £9.50. I've just noticed that it's £15 now, two surcharges because I don't take their phone and TV packages. Sky are quite good at being commercial arses it seems. As my Broadband speed is only 6 meg across the land line I think it might be time to pay BT a visit. Anyone know of any just cause why I shouldn't? bad experiences etc?

Oh no, that's for both buying and selling.

So they're doing twice the work of the Estate Agent you're paying three and a half times as much, and you're complaining about them?

And that's before considering that the work they do is complicated and requires years of training instead of just a shiny suit and pointy shoes.

Wow.

What I was complaining about is that they hadn't made contact in over a week, despite reassurances that they the solicitor dealing with the case would be in touch the day after I instructed them - she was off sick and apologised.

Playing Ludo before MK Jnr bed and do you think I could throw a 6? Even when I did I was knocked out by MK Jnr or Mrs MK next turn. I got quite mardy.

Yer...that high? Got a .25% reduction as they're selling the place we're buying.
So you're buying AND selling through them and they're charging you that? Blimey! Most agents round here are working on 1% sole agency, some are even under cutting that just to get the business as it's so cut and thrust in the area at present.

Got tickets for the Barcelona Open semi-finals on Saturday, feat. Rafa Nadal if he makes it that far, so guess the forecast in Barcelona in late April? Of course, thunderstorms and rain throughout the day, which on an outdoor clay court, means no tennis.

Let's hope the forecast changes. That will be such a shame.

As for me, I've booked next week off work to do some flying. I've booked the plane for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (I booked it a few weeks back). Currently the weather is forecast is very changeable for those days, so I might end up being grounded.

Net session last night, when bowling I got one smacked straight back at me and into my left arm (very sore this morning). When batting someone clicked the bowling machine up a few mph and got one right on my right thumb, so pain using both hands.

Take the day off ill. You obviously can't be expected to work in such dire circumstances.

You can always take shelter in the LFB ( French Lycée) over the road!
