I wear Clarks desert boots to work and they lose all grip in the wet.

I virtually moonwalked across Canary Wharf this morning.
I am so glad you have said that ,when I wear my desert boots when it has been raining I slip all over the place ,Southend high street is one of the worst places , my wife says its because I dont know how to walk properly .:winking:

Woke up this morning with a very dry throat. Hopefully it won't lead to anything much, but I go on holiday in 16 days. I should be over a cold in that time, but my holiday is a SCUBA diving holiday in Sharm and because I haven't dived for about 3 years I need to complete a SCUBA review session, which I have booked for next Wednesday, which is cutting it fine.

I am currently ****ed off more than you can imagine, but also hopeful it will work out OK.

SCUBA review on Wednesday night. Still feel crap. Oh dear.

Senior manager eating a very stinky burger a few desks behind me despite the rule of no hot food at your desk. One rule for one.....

Nice to know that Network Rail ban hot food in the office, but someone eating a Burger King from a bag on a packed 18.11 from Sheffield to Manchester while stuck on the tracks and with a broken reservation service is completely fine.
